Routeforward is a partnership of agencies and businesses in the Coventry area with interests in using or providing transport for all people with needs in local communities in a socially and environmentally responsible manner, by promoting, sustaining, developing, and introducing efficient and economic transport services.

The stated Objectives of the partnership are:

• to encourage and enable people who are elderly, disabled, unemployed, young, or young parents to access passenger transport and travel solutions through:
  • Improving coordination and cooperation between local passenger transport service providers
  • Providing a central call centre facility to process requests from eligible clients requiring passenger transport to access health, employment, leisure, or learning.
  • Providing clear and easily understood information on how to access passenger transport services
• To have a strong customer focused culture
• To offer sustainable services which are easily accessible to all citizens through multiple channels

Routeforward has adopted a strategic approach that encourages the optimised use of existing resources through better co-ordination and integration, and by developing the contributions of staff, volunteers, and benefactors
